GELATO CLASSICO, PALO ALTO

Monday, October 12, 2015

The first time I've had honey-lavender flavoured food was in Dolores Park, when Bi-Rite was giving out free ice cream. It was so delicious. I ate the whole thing.
And so when I saw that they had honey-lavender here I ordered it too.
Along with the green tea because we needed dessert after whatever we had for dinner (I think it was deep dish pizza) and saying our farewells to a friend.
The guys also chose a chocolate or smores flavour which did not entice me very much.
Anyway I would highly recommend coming here just for the honey lavender gelato. Or if you are in SF, to go to Bi-Rite Creamery for their honey lavender ice cream.
Yes, it sounds like it would taste like febreeze but let me assure you that it is going to taste rather heavenly in your mouth.

I also got a double shot + whipped cream on our second visit. Thumbs up to that

P/S

We could have gone to other bubble tea places (There's one called Boba Boys in SF I believe my coworker told me to visit) but we were drawn in by the familiarity of Chatime.
I always get roasted milk tea, half sweet, no ice, with grass jelly
I have this thing where I have to eat something sweet (even fruit will do) after any meal. Post breakfast sweet is usually covered by coffee, but lunch will most likely be followed by fruit and dinner will always be a full on dessert or fruit.
Otherwise? I end up feeling very unsatisfied.

Dear readers, do you have to eat dessert after your meals?
